Can't make the HPS national meeting in Cleveland next July? Consider the Canadian Radiation Protection Association (CRPA) meeting in Quebec City at the Hilton in late Spring as an unique alternative. The theme for the 2018 conference is "Human Factors and Safety Culture." Quebec City is a beautiful European-looking city with many narrow streets and steep hills. Most of you would recognize the iconic Château Frontenac perched high on a bluff overlooking the Saint Lawrence River. The annual CRPA conference usually attracts between 80-120 radiation protection professionals and their awards banquet is much more informal than the HPS awards banquet. Grab your passport, some warm clothing, and be sure to sample some poutine, a rich Quebec dish made with french fries, gravy, and cheese curds.

All the final details haven't been decided yet, but here is the web site where they will be posted.

Hope to see you there.
