Fall 2024 STC-HPS Meeting and Affiliates Fair
The Fall 2024 Conference at UT Arlington was attended by approximately 30 members for the regular conference program and 10 member and non-member attendees for the 4-hr Operational Basics of a Radiation Safety Program workshop. National HPS President-Elect Mike Lewandowski gave a virtual presentation about the future of HPS and presented a technical talk on radiation gauges.

Spring 2024 STC-HPS Meeting Recap
Texas A&M University, College Station, TX
The Annual and Student meeting of the STC-HPS Chapter was held at Rudder Tower on the campus of Texas A&M University from April 19-20, 2024 and was attended by approximately 40 registrants. Several technical talks were given on an assortment of radiation protection subjects over both days. For the student portion of the meeting, there were one undergraduate and four graduate presentations given by students representing Texas and Texas A&M Universities. Lastly, two enthusiastic high school students presented their award winning science fair projects to the registrants.

The fall meeting was held October 4–6 at
UTMB Open Gates Conference Center in Galveston, TX

The theme was current best practices in Health Physics with a focus on operational aspects. Student presentations were held on the following day.
